The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), headed by Governor Shaktikanta Das, will announce the monetary policy today. Experts believe that the central bank will maintain status quo on the benchmark interest rate in the backdrop of global scare due to the new coronavirus variant Omicron.
